Body Care

Soy Wax Candles

  • First Burn is Key: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn long enough for the melted wax pool to reach the edge of the container (usually 2–4 hours). This sets the wax "memory" and prevents tunneling.

  • Trim the Wick: Before every burn, trim the cotton wick to 41 inch (5mm). A short wick prevents excessive soot, large flames, and keeps the jar from overheating.

  • Burn Limit: Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when 21 inch of wax remains at the bottom to prevent the glass from cracking.

Tealight Candles

  • Always burn tealights in a designated, non-flammable holder. The thin cup gets very hot and can damage surfaces if placed directly on wood or plastic.

Wax Melts

  • Only use wax melts in an approved electric or tea-light warmer.

  • Disposal: Never pour melted wax down the drain! To remove old wax, lightly warm it for 1–2 minutes to loosen the disc, then easily wipe it out with a paper towel or cotton ball.

  • Store unused melts away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve their fragrance.

Room Sprays

  • Shake well before each use to ensure the fragrance oils are properly mixed.

  • Spray 2–3 pumps into the center of the room. Avoid spraying directly onto delicate fabrics, wood, or skin, as the concentration may cause staining or irritation.

Reed Diffusers

  • Boosting Scent: To refresh the fragrance, simply flip the reeds once per week. This exposes the saturated ends to the air for a renewed scent throw.

  • Longevity: Keep the diffuser away from direct sunlight or heat, which can cause the oil to evaporate too quickly.

  • When purchasing a refill, always use new reeds. Old reeds become clogged and cannot diffuse the oil effectively.

Soap Bars

  • Keep it Dry: This is the most important tip! Always place your soap bar on a well-draining soap dish and let it dry out completely between uses. This prevents the bar from becoming soft and mushy, drastically increasing its lifespan.

Lip Balm

  • Prevent Melting: Lip balms made with natural butters can easily melt. Store below 75∘F (24∘C) and never leave it in a hot car or pocket.

  • If your balm does melt, place it upright in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to solidify it. The balm's effectiveness will not be harmed.

Hand Sanitizer

  • Storage Safety: Hand sanitizer is highly flammable due to its alcohol content. Store it at room temperature and keep it away from heat, sparks, or open flames.

Perfume Rollers (Oil-Based)

  • Application: Roll the oil directly onto your pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears). The warmth from these areas helps the fragrance develop and diffuse.

  • Storage: Keep the roller upright in a cool, dark place away from sunlight to prevent the fragrance oils from breaking down and weakening the scent over time.
